Our Policies
AREAS SERVICED
Unless indicated otherwise, B&B Cleaning Co. will clean every area in your home according to the following list, to the best of our ability in the cleaning time that you have requested. Exceptions and special instructions are indicated below the service list.
LIVING SPACES, BEDROOMS & GENERAL AREAS
  • Dust furniture, furnishings & window sills
  • Clean Floors
  • Empty wastebaskets
  • Doors, frames, window frames, light fixtures, vents, fans, & baseboards as needed
  • Clean Floors
KITCHEN
  • Clean counters, sinks/stovetops, tables & small appliances
  • Clean Floors
  • Wipe down face of dishwasher, refrigerator, oven doors
  • Cabinets (outside only)
  • Doors, frames, window frames, light fixtures, vents, fans, & baseboards as needed
  • Spot clean walls as needed
BATHROOM

  • Thoroughly clean counters, toilets, sinks and bathtub/shower
  • Clean floors
  • Cabinets (outside only)
  • Doors, frames, window frames, light fixtures (with step stool provided), vents, fans, & baseboards as needed
  • Spot clean walls as needed

AREAS WE DO NOT SERVICE
As it is our goal to always provide our clients with outstanding service due to the safety of our cleaning consultants and the utmost concern of your delicate items we can not provide the following services:
  • Moving of any furniture
  • Cleaning homes that have been infested with bed bugs
  • Cleaning large areas of floors by hand
  • Use of ladders higher than 3 feet
  • Cleaning of cat litter boxes
  • Handling of pet feces
  • Cleaning of fireplaces
  • Hand washing clothes
  • Providing laundry services when the laundry facilities are not located inside your building
  • Cleaning outside of windows that do not flip forward
  • Cleaning outside of larger than standard size windows. Standard size windows are 40″ width by 60″ height
  • Stepping on kitchen counters to clean the top of cabinets
  • Reorganizing clothing closets. We only clean the bottom of closet floors. Organizing services can be added but are not part of the cleaning packages.
  • Lifting or moving of heavy items
  • Cleaning of window treatments including curtains and blinds

PAYMENT TERMS
B&B Cleaning Co. accepts payment via Chase QuickPay, PayPal, cash or check.  All electronic payments must be made the day prior to scheduled cleaning.  Please leave your payment on your kitchen counter in an envelope. If no payment is made prior to scheduled service, we will be unable to provide services.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
Unless otherwise requested the following areas will not be serviced in general cleanings: Inside of the refrigerator, inside of the stove, windows, and laundry room and services . Per your request we will gladly provide the above services. Please be aware that the above services add additional time to your cleaning appointments, which will result in additional charges.

ESTIMATED CLEANING TIMES
Every home is different and requires different cleaning times. As we do not perform in home estimates for our general cleanings and/or first time cleanings our phone estimates are based on the information each client gives our office representatives. Often upon arrival to the home and after a walk-through of the space it can be determined that the appointment will require additional time to clean the entire space. If additional time is needed B&B Cleaning Co. will always call the client before the end of the appointment. If the client authorizes the additional time requested by B&B Cleaning Co. the client understands that additional charges will be incurred. If the client does not authorize the additional time requested the client understands that B&B Cleaning Co. will complete the job to the best of their ability. The client also understands that if they do not approve the additional time that the entire home may not be cleaned and that B&B Cleaning Co. will clean priority areas given by the client first.
Note: If the appointment requires additional time and B&B Cleaning Co. cannot contact the client during the duration of the appointment, B&B Cleaning Co. will leave the appointment at the end of the scheduled cleaning time and will complete the job to the best of the cleaning consultant’s ability.
Note: All initial cleanings generally take longer as it is the first time we are cleaning your home.

SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT
B&B Cleaning Co. cleaning consultants arrive equipped with cleaning products that are eco-friendly and socially responsible and cleaning equipment. At B&B Cleaning Co. we use only doTerra essential oils in our cleaning products and for air diffusion. If you would like for the cleaning consultants to use some other products or tools than what we have, please provide them. B&B Cleaning Co. does not use bleach. If you want bleach used, please provide chlorine free bleach. Thank you.

LAUNDRY SERVICES
At B&B Cleaning Co. our goal is to make your experience the most pleasant and hassle free one. To avoid any unnecessary phone calls during you cleaning please let us know where we can find the following:
If you have requested laundry services, please let us know where we can find your laundry detergent and laundry card/monies. Additionally please be aware that there are additional costs associated with laundry services.
Inform us where your laundry detergent/laundry monies are, and please pre-sort your laundry to prevent laundry damages.

SPECIAL CLEANING SOLUTIONS
B&B Cleaning Co. will always provide our own eco friendly cleaning solutions however if there are specialty products that you would like us to use please indicate what these items are and where they are located. We use mostly homemade cleaning products using doTERRA essential oils and other natural ingredients like castile soap, vinegar, baking soda, citric acid, peroxide and alcohol.

EXCEPTIONS & SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Please inform us of any special instructions you may want to add to your cleaning appointment. Additionally if you have any items in your home that have special cleaning instructions please let us know. Please feel free to be as detailed as possible.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
At B&B Cleaning Co. our services require our cleaning consultants to touch or move many items in your home. As we do not take responsibility for items damaged prior to our cleaning, please list any items that are delicate or previously damaged. Our consultants will not clean these items. If you do not inform us of any delicate items, we will assume that there are no delicate or damaged items in your home.
Please inform us of your delicate items.
As part of our special services at every cleaning your cleaning consultant will leave a complimentary bed presentation which consists of; a thank- you note card, a piece of chocolate and a small packet of tea. To prevent waste if you feel it is not necessary to leave the bed presentation or if you would like us to leave only a certain item, please inform us. (for example, only leave chocolate or do not leave bed presentation at all). If we are not given specific instructions, we will always leave a full bed presentation.

B&B CLEANING CO. AMENITIES
At B&B Cleaning Co. we understand how important your pet(s) are to you. We also are aware that chocolate can be a very sensitive item if consumed by some pets.
Please let us know if you do not want us to leave a chocolate on your pillow(s). 

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING AND NON-ENTRY POLICY
We understand that there are times when you might need to cancel, reschedule or change your cleaning appointment. We ask that you give us 48 (business) hours advance notice to cancel, reschedule or change your appointment. Due to the high demand for our services, if you cancel, reschedule or change your appointment within less than 48 (business) hours of your scheduled appointment, you will incur a $35 cancellation fee per scheduled cleaning consultant.
**Any appointments canceled or rescheduled less than 24 (business) hours of the scheduled start time of the appointment will be charged the full amount of the cleaning.
**If a B&B Cleaning Co. cleaning consultant arrives at a scheduled cleaning appointment and is unable to gain access to the home the client will be responsible for paying the full amount of the cleaning.
OFFICE HOURS
Our standard office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and we welcome your calls.

FOUL WEATHER POLICY
In the event a B&B Cleaning Co. employee cannot clean your home due to extreme weather conditions, although we are unable to issue a refund we will gladly reschedule your appointment to the next available cleaning day. In most case your appointment will be reschedule within 1-2 days after the original appointment date.
EMPLOYEE NON SOLICITATION AGREEMENT
B&B Cleaning Co. clients may not solicit our employees to be contracted or employed by you or your affiliates for services of any kind. If you would like to hire/contract one of our workers to work independently for you or your affiliates, you may submit your request by informing our office in writing. If B&B Cleaning Co. approves your request, you will be required to pay a $4,000 referral fee before our employee is released to work independently for you.
Please be advised that should there be a breach of this agreement this will result in litigation being initiated to recover damages suffered by B&B Cleaning Co. and the client will be responsible for all legal cost and expenses, including B&B Cleaning Co. attorney fees.
I have read the foregoing and acknowledge and agree that I will not solicit B&B Cleaning Co. employees to clean for myself or any of my affiliates.
ASSIGNED CLEANING CONSULTANT
We understand that most clients would prefer to have the same cleaning consultant consistently clean their home. It is our goal to provide you with consistency. B&B Cleaning Co. will try to provide you with a regular cleaning consultant. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot always guarantee the same cleaning consultant. We reserve the right to change cleaning consultants at any time. Should we have to change your cleaning consultant, in most cases we will have a quality control supervisor oversee your first appointment change.
SAFETY POLICY
Employee safety is important to us. We require our employees to wear shoes at all times, refrain from climbing ladders higher than 30″, and lifting objects weighting more than 20 pounds. We do not clean bodily fluids, pet accidents or any other substance which may pose a health or safety hazard to our employees. B&B Cleaning Co. reserves the right to remove an employee from a job site at any time if safety is of concern or if integrity is in question.
OPEN DOOR POLICY
At B&B Cleaning Co. we encourage our clients who do not live in doorman buildings to leave a set of keys on file with our office. In the event that you leave the door to your home unlocked to allow our cleaning consultants to gain entry or give our cleaning consultants permission to leave your door unlocked when leaving your home, B&B Cleaning Co. will not assume liability for any items stolen from your home.
NO BLEACH POLICY
Though B&B Cleaning Co. only uses non-toxic cleaning products when performing services on occasions we have been asked if provide by the client to use Chlorine Bleach. Due to the health concerns of our cleaning consultants and to adhere to our green philosophy B&B Cleaning Co. will not use any Chlorine Bleach when performing cleaning or laundry services. We will gladly use a non-toxic chlorine free bleach if provided by the client.
FIREPLACES
Due to the health risks associated with the inhalation of soot, B&B Cleaning Co. does not clean soot from fireplaces. We will gladly clean around the fireplace. Should you require fireplace cleaning; B&B Cleaning Co. can suggest a reputable company to assist you.
WINDOW CLEANING
We understand that window cleaning can be a very important part of having a thorough cleaning. Window cleaning is not a typical daily cleaning task therefore windows can often become jammed and very hard to open. Hard to open windows can be very dangerous for our cleaning consultants. To assist in our employees’ safety we ask that you examine your windows prior to a window cleaning to ensure that your windows can be easily opened. As old and jammed windows can easily come off track or be damaged when performing inside and out window cleanings, B&B Cleaning Co. does not take responsibility for windows damaged during window cleaning services.
LAUNDRY (NO LIABILITY CLAUSE)
There may be times in which a client may require B&B Cleaning Co. to perform laundry services. We are happy to assist with this service however please be aware that due the delicate nature of this service B&B Cleaning Co. does not assume responsibility for any laundry damages. As a precaution we advise that you presort your laundry and that you do not include delicate or dry clean only items in your laundry bags. By providing only sheets and towels for this service this drastically reduces the possibility for laundry damages. Additionally, the client understands that laundry services will add an additional hour or more to the appointment time. We require that you provide all laundry detergent and necessary monies for operating laundry machines. Please leave all laundry supplies in a clearly visible area.
PETS
At B&B Cleaning Co. we understand how important your pets are to you. We are a pet friendly company and will gladly receive special instructions regarding your pet’s safety. We do ask however if your pet/pets become stressed or aggressive when around unfamiliar people that you contain them in a locked area during the cleaning. Due to health concerns, B&B Cleaning Co. cannot allow their cleaning consultants to handle any pet feces. 

DAMAGES
B&B Cleaning Co. cleaning professionals treat your home with the utmost respect. However, due to the nature of our business, accidents can happen. Should a damage occur to your property during a B&B Cleaning Co. appointment, please notify our office immediately after the cleaning appointment has ended. Should you have any delicate or sensitive items in your home please notify our office representatives as we will instruct our cleaning consultants not to touch those items. If an item is damaged by our cleaning consultant we ask that you do not throw the item away as B&B Cleaning Co. will need to take photographs of the item for insurance purposes. If a receipt is not available for the damaged item and it is clear that the item has been damaged by a B&B Cleaning Co. employee, B&B Cleaning Co. will purchase a replacement of equal value. B&B Cleaning Co. does not take responsibility for items damaged prior to a cleaning. B&B Cleaning Co. does not take responsibility for items that require special cleaning instructions if those cleaning instructions were not given to us. We cannot guarantee reimbursement for damages reported more than 48 hours after the end of the cleaning appointment or damages that we cannot physically inspect.
COMPUTER/ELECTRICAL WIRES
As we aim to handle all items in your home with care and we know that computer wires, cables and cords can be delicate. Our in-depth cleanings require that we may have to lift or slightly move these items as dust accumulates heavily in these areas. Please notify us below if contact with these wires, cables and cords can disconnect your computer system. If so we will ask our cleaning consultants to skip these areas. If the area below is left blank we will assume that it is ok to clean around your computer area and/or electrical equipment area.
SATISFACTION POLICY
We proudly stand behind our work. Should you have any comments regarding your cleaning, please call us within 24 hours after the end of your cleaning appointment. If there are areas that you feel we have overlooked, we ask that you do not clean those areas yourself, as we will have someone report to your home within 24 hours to re-clean the areas of concern. While we are unable to issue refunds, if necessary, we are happy to re-clean any areas of concern.


I have read, agree to and fully understand all terms included in the B&B Cleaning Co. Service Agreement. I also understand that I will be charged prior to services.
